Short documentary focusing on the writings of Marx, and including images of Lenin and the launch of Vostok 1. This film charts the history of Russia in the second half of the nineteenth century, touching on the abolition of serfdom, the starvation of peasants and mass migration to the cities. To Karl Marx, happiness could only be achieved by struggle, and it is argued here that he believed revolution in Russia to be inevitable.
