Documentary focusing on socialism and East German industry and labour, including a script of Lenin's most famous writings and speeches. From scenes of content young people on a beach, the film switches to images of the Second World War intercut with photographs of Lenin; his beliefs in the important role played by factories and industry in the rebuilding of shattered cities are reiterated.
