Summary:
Three students from Africa make a film about the Soviet Union, focusing on their visits to Moscow, Estonia and Uzbekistan. The film is narrated using the words of Abdulla Askafare, one of the students, and it follows the students on their journey as they explore agriculture, religion, education and industry in Uzbekistan and Estonia. They meet fellow African students and learn about co-operatives. They also attend a poetry evening at the House of Friendship With Peoples in Foreign Countries.
