Summary:
A film of compiled clips related to the labour and workers' movements of 1930's Britain. The majority of footage is of marches and rallies that take place in Britain. The protests captured include the National Hunger March of 1932 and the British Unemployment Assistance demonstrations of 1935. There is also a story film from May 1934 called "Bread", which was made by the Workers Theatre Group and distributed by Kino films. A segment on the Gresford Colliery disaster of September 1934 also features.
