- Summary:
- A feature on the creation of the Bac Hung Hai water conservancy project in 1958-59. The beginnings of the work on the conservancy project is shown, with workers digging and carrying vast lumps of mud away from the site. This type of footage characterises most of the film, with short scenes of recreational activities that the workers engaged in, such as watching performances and socialising in small restaurants interspersed throughout. The opening ceremony is captured towards the end of the film.
