Colourful documentary tracing the events of the anti-nuclear movement of the late 1980s, with a particular emphasis on the Reagan administration's decision to produce neutron bombs and the Soviet Union's attempts at negotiation. The film includes interviews with the inventor of the neutron bomb, Samuel T Cohen, politician Gert Bastian, Social Democrat Ehard Eppler and Nobel Peace Prize winner Baron (Philip) Noel-Baker. Other highlights include footage shot at a series of marches, a song about disarmament and soldiers swearing an oath to oppose the use of nuclear weapons.
