This dataset presents the share of Research and Development expenditures on total Government Financial Transfers. Fisheries Research and Development expenditures are budgetary expenditures that finance research and development activities related to fisheries, irrespective of the institution (private or public, ministry, university, research centre or fisher group) or where they take place, the nature of research (scientific, institutional, etc.), or its purpose. The focus is on Research and Development expenditures on applied research related to the fisheries sector. Social-sciences research related to fisheries is included.
