It is most respectfully announced to the Public, that the celebrated African Roscius Having been received with enthusiastic applause on Saturday Last, in the Character of Gambia, is engaged for One Night More, and will make his second appearance on This present Saturday Feb. 17th, The Singular Novelty of An Actor of Colour, Personating the routine of Moorish and African Characters, has rendered the performance of the African Roscius, highly attractive in the Theatres in which he has appeared; - and the nightly plaudits with which he has uniformly been honoured by Crowded Audiences, evince the estimation in which his talents are held by the Public. This present Saturday, Feb. 17th, 1827, Will be performed Shakespeare's Tragedy of Othello. ... After which, will be produced, for the First Time Here, A New Musical Farce, In Two Acts, translated from the French, as performed with the greatest success, at the T. R. Covent Garden, called 'Twas I! or, The Truth a Lie. ...
