Summary:
All-Russian Scientific Conference "Fundamental and Applied Problems of Modern Mechanics was held in the Tomsk State University for the tenth time. The event is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics and the 140th anniversary of Tomsk State University. During this time, ten volumes of Proceedings were published. The previous nine volumes are indexed by the Russian Science Citation Index only. This is the first volume that is published in English. The conference contained seven sections and one section for young scientists. Scientific reports are devoted to combustion, ballistics, deformable solid mechanics, fluid and gas mechanics, celestial mechanics, heat and mass transfer, computational technologies.
