Spanish photographer Jordi Esteva (born 1951) spent five years in the five great oases of the Egyptian desert capturing the diversity of cultures within these confined areas and the fragility of these ways of life in the face of the encroaching globalized world. RM recupera en una cuidada edición la obra Los Oasis de Egipto, del escritor y fotógrafo Jordi Esteva. Siwa, Bahriyah, Farafra, Dakhla y Kharga son los nombres de los cinco grandes oasis de Egipto, pequeños mundos que durante siglos permanecieron detenidos en un tiempo casi mítico y que mantuvieron una cultura propia, dando pie a múltiples leyendas.
