Summary:
The book addresses family diversity in the state of Querétaro, in addition to presenting crucial issues such as the problems faced by sex workers and the secrecy situation in which they work, in the face of extreme violence and stigmatization of their families; as well as the problems of the homo- and lesbo-parental families, and the importance of transitioning to their legal and social recognition, in order to achieve an egalitarian and democratic coexistence; likewise, this book touches the desolation of youth that can lead to suicide, and the importance of family interaction to prevent a growing phenomenon; besides dealing with gender violence in the family, which is deployed as a result of migratory processes, among other topics that deal with families and gender studies. --Source other than Library of Congress.
