Layout: Written in 20 long lines with alternating lines of Arabic and Persian; Arabic lines are 3 mm taller than Persian lines; catchwords every verso, lower left (often trimmed); marginalia.
Script: Written in naskh in black ink (Arabic) and nastaʻlīq in red ink (Persian); pointed, with Arabic partially vocalized; marginalia in nastaʻlīq in black ink.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue, red and green with foliate marginal fill on first page-opening (f. 1v-2r); textblock is border-ruled in blue, red, gold, and blue with page-opening framed in narrow gold and black; lines are ruled in narrow gold and black
Binding: Bound in reddish brown leather over pasteboard with inlay, blind-stamped central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis; edges of cover and spine in red leather; black leather doublure.
Origin: Copy completed in Rajab of the year 1107 (February 1696) (f. [150]r).
