- Decoration: Dual-page illuminated first opening in gold and blue with the text on contoured bands with tiny, blue vine and leaf fill (f. [1]v-[2]r); several different types of marginal medallions to show text divisions and verse count primarily in gold and blue with red and green additions and with blue finials extending as radiant lines; sūrah titles in white on gold ground with a delicate, black, curving vine and leaf design border-ruled in green and blue or red and blue; gold roundels lined in blue with red centers mark verse endings; textblock is border-ruled in red, green, gold and blue; readings in red.
- Binding: Bound in black leather over pasteboard covers (detached) with faint, blind-tooled frame of double lines set 20 mm apart.
- Origin: Item is undated, perhaps copied in the 16th century.
