Edited by Robert Little, this quarterly was mainly concerned with trade and manufacturing. It offered articles relating to trade, agriculture, and canals, and published specifications of patents of recent inventions and improvements of machinery and methods. Many articles were accompanied by diagrams and drawings. Contents also included selections from British scientific publications, meteorological reports, and poetry. Cf.
