He took the "Indexes to documents relative to North Carolina ..." which he had published in 1843 and "The proceedings of the Safety Committee for the town of Wilmington ..." which he had published in 1844, put a magazine cover on them and labeled them December and re-published them by way of a supplement to the North Carolina University magazine."
