- The first six nos. of the Quarterly journal of the American Education Society, issued July 1827-Oct. 1829, are considered by the Society to be v. 1, no. 1-6 of the American quarterly register. The journal was also issued as a separate title July 1827-Oct. 1829. From Jan. 1829-May 1843 the Society issued the journal and the register separately, all publications having the same numbering.
