Summary:
This is a manuscript of segulot (supernatural remedies for the prevention against harm) and other remedies for sicknesses and maladies; the manuscript is anonymous and appears North African in script and in its use of amulet designs. The beginning folios appear to be simple cures, and end with letter amulets (f. 1r-3r); the following portion explains themes of supernatural protection (f. 4r-6v) and ends with an amulet design (f. 6v); the final folios are in Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic, and they contain more material on supernatural remedies. In a modern brown binding with marbled endpapers. Three leaves are embossed with a seal with the word "Bath" and a crown (f. 1, 2, 7).
