- Biography/History:
- Heriberto Cairo is Professor in Political Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, where he has been dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology. He has published extensively in geopolitics, peace and conflict studies and Latin American integration process. Breno Bringel is Professor at the Institute of Social and Political Studies at the Rio de Janeiro State University, Brazil, where he coordinates the PhD Program in Sociology. He has published extensively in social movements, transnational activism and Latin American thought.
