Summary:
"Both Journalism Studies and Journalism: Theory, Practice, and Criticism have since made an impressive mark in communication studies, and can be considered key outlets for scholars to develop theories and methods of the study of journalism. Second, in 2004 the International Communication Association (ICA) established a Journalism Studies Interest Group, which would soon turn into a Journalism Studies Division, and which is now one of the association's largest divisions. Journalism-focused divisions or sections at other large communication and media associations have experienced similar growth in popularity, such as at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) or the European Communication Research and Education Associ- ation (ECREA)"-- Provided by publisher.
