Baron Schwartz and Morgan Tocker start with an overview of the process, and then introduce the tools you need diagnose and fix your system, including iostat, vmstat and mk-query-digest. You'll learn the approach that Percona consultants have put to use across thousands of customer machines. This tutorial is practical and hands-on, with only minimal emphasis on performance theory when needed.
