- In this Learning Apple OS X Yosemite training course, expert author Andy Anderson will teach you how to work efficiently with the Yosemite operating system. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous experience with Macintosh or Yosemite is required. You will start by learning how to install Yosemite, then jump into setting up the working environment. From there, Andy will teach you how to use the Yosemite finder, work with applications and the dock, and save and search in Yosemite. This video tutorial also covers Safari, the mail, calendar, and contacts apps, and communicating with video and text. Andy will explain additional considerations, such as the improved iTunes, Quicktime, notes and reminders, and how to install additional apps. Finally, you will learn how to work with Airdrop and Handoff, and how to keep our information safe and secure. Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of navigating the Yosemite operating system, and be able to take full advantage of the powerful features included in Apple's latest OS X release.
