Summary:
In 2013, Fashion Destination, a well-established clothing retailer considered the idea of setting up a clothing and accessories rental service. Since it had no prior experience in this business and no major player existed in the market at that time, it was not sure of the demand potential and feasibility of such a service. Hence, it hired a market research agency Wright & Company to conduct a market research for it. The consultants submitted the final report to Vishal with their recommendations and detailed analysis. They recommended going ahead with the launch of the service. As Vishal read the report submitted by the consultants, he wondered if this would be the right decision. Vishal decided to read the data analysis plan and the results before he decided on the business.
