- Dan Olofsson is a Swedish IT billionaire and owner of a private game reserve in Hluhluwe (northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa). Having bought the land for the lodge in 2002, Olofsson began to reconsider his plans when he witnessed the dire poverty and human suffering there caused by HIV/AIDS. This text examines Olofsson's charitable efforts in the region.
