Summary:
This case deals with an assessment of motivational practices of an Indian Public Sector organization. The case is a clear reflection of the gap that existed between the expectations of the employees and the provisions made by the organization to keep them satisfied. An analysis of survey information revealed that in spite of the top facilities provided by the company, the employees generally remained dissatisfied. This case brings out the issues related to current theories of motivation and beyond.
