In 2013, Vishal took over the management of Fashion Destination, a clothing retail shop started by his father 25 years ago. Fashion Destination was a one-stop shop, selling everything including childrens wear, womens wear and menswear in Ahmedabad. However, over the last 5 years business had been slow due to the entry of competitors like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, and a number of single brand and multi brand retailers. Vishal had just completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Well Known Institute of Management in Western India (WIMWI) and felt that he could revive the fortunes of this business. As he sat down in his office evaluating his options, he had a wild idea. "Why not change the business model completely?".
