- Summary:
- Tom Decker, Plant Manager of a large fruit and vegetable canning plant, owned by a national grocery chain, is made aware of an attempt by a union to organize production workers at the plant. In response, he decides to try to convince management in the corporate office to improve employee wages and benefits, so that union representation is not needed. However, it may be necessary to take more drastic action to remove the threat that a union might represent to the company.
