Summary:
This brief case introduces Bob, a former building contractor who volunteers at an organization that provides services to older people in the community so that they live comfortably in their households. However, Bob goes beyond his way and fixes their plumbing, making other volunteers complain to the organization's executive director. Bob's wife is on the board of trustees, so it is hard for the director to express these complaints to Bob. This case deals with the limits of volunteering, and its management in the nonprofit sector.
