- Summary:
- Dixie Weaving, Inc. is a manufacturing company based in the Southeast region of the United States. Facing a high turnover rate (close to 40%), the HR director contacted a dynamic duo of consultants to assist in addressing the problem. The company's goal for this project was to have well-trained personnel on the manufacturing floor at all times and evaluate other aspects of the organization's management. After a tour of the plant, the consultants realized the complexity of the problems the company faced. They proposed a plan that included two weeks of data collection, followed by data analysis and development of a proposed solution. The proposal sought participation of all employees and supervisors and was approved by Dixie's HR director.
