Summary:
On December 24, 2011, Mr. Ganguly, the General Manager of the Dadri Power Station was in his room thinking about this project. He was happy that there had been no power deficit during the Commonwealth Games. Also, NTPC had been able to complete its projects in less time than it had committed. However, he felt that a project risk management system was now needed. NTPC had been adding capacity and doing project management for several years. He felt that it needed to get much more maturity in this field to accomplish its goal of being the world's largest power generator. He wondered how he could achieve this goal.
