- Summary:
- Billy's parents try to plan his life for him, including his choice of friends, but he has ideas of his own.
- Contents:
- Billy is very young when his parents begin to plan his future. His mother thinks he'll make a good doctor or teacher. His father thinks that a boy with such strong legs should be a soccer player. Yet as Billy grows older, one thing about him becomes clear : he definitely has a mind of his own. When new neighbours move in, Billy just doesn't see them the way his parents do. And it's a good thing. When tempers flare, Billy's high spirits and independent nature allow him to prove that sometimes parents can learn a thing or two from their children.
