- RBC copy has 2 unnumbered 18th-century ms. leaves titled "Diary for the weather begun the first of December [written above: 1783] in St Mary's County in the State of Maryland Lat. 38° 28'" bound in at end of volume. The tail outer corner of leaf [2] has been torn off with some loss of text and mended with a blank leaf.
- RBC copy: first folded plate torn and mended with a portion excised; second folded plate mutilated with a significant portion missing (part mended with a blank leaf).
