- RBC copy has small armorial bookplate of an unidentified former owner (from the Prideaux family, baronets of Netherton?) affixed to front pastedown. Arms: Argent, a chevron sable, in chief a label of three points gules. Crest: On a cap of dignity, a Saracen's head, couped at the shoulders, looking sideways, proper.
- RBC copy: leaves frame-ruled in red ink.
- RBC copy has paper slip with bookseller's printed description of this copy (with ms. note in pencil: "AS 11/44 Dawson") laid in.
- RBC copy bound in full diced calf; boards tooled in gold; gold-tooled cover edges and turn-ins; spine tooled in gold; title ("HOLY BIBLE" and "SHORT HAND" in separate panels) stamped in gold on spine; yellow endpapers; all edges dark; 4 blue silk markers.
