- Provides an overview of formulas used to provide grants to States for implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the major Federal statute that supports special education and services for children with disabilities. Examines formulas for three IDEA state grant programs: the preschool program, infants and toddlers program, and the grants-to-States program which serves school-aged children with disabilities.
