- Examines work programs, and child support provisions of Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) program. Reviews H.R. 1720, the Family Welfare Reform Act of 1987; and S. 1511, the Family Security Act of 1987, both to require States to estabish work education and training programs and to require non-exempt recipients of cash welfare assisstance for needy children and their families to participate.
