- Compilation of legislative history of P.L. 101-433 (text, pages 3-9), the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act, amending the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA) to prohibit arbitrary age discrimination in employee benefit plans unless age-based reductions in benefits are justified by cost considerations; and establish specified minimum requirements for ADEA waivers not supervised by EEOC to ensure that older workers are not coerced or manipulated into waiving their rights to seek legal relief.
