Summary:
As part of Picasso-Mediterranean, international cultural event at the initiative of the Picasso Museum-Paris, the museum Picasso, Antibes will present, from September 28, 2018 to January 15, 2019, "The holidays of Mr. Pablo. Picasso in Antibes Juan-les-Pins, 1920-1946. This exhibition and the accompanying catalog retrace Pablo Picasso's family holidays in Antibes Juan-les-Pins, which he discovered in 1920 and where he will return many times. It is this taste for this little corner of Côte d'Azur, which has become so familiar, that will make it come back after the war, especially in 1946, a stay that will give birth to the museum's collection. Because these holidays, very studious, were a moment of privileged creation: the exhibition will gather a hundred works illustrating these moments--Hazan.
