- Notes:
- Benedictus' edition of the Vulgate Bible was originally published in 1541. This is a separate edtition of the New Testament from that edition, with additional notes.
- Part 2 (Epistles and Revelation) has separate foliation and special dated title page which reads: Diui Pauli Epistolae, non vulgaribus doctorum scholijs illustratae. Parisiis, Apud Simonem Colinaeum, & Galeotum à Prato. 1543.
- Signatures: [fleuron]-2[fleuron]⁸ 3[fleuron]⁴ a-z⁸ A-S⁸ T⁴ (leaf z8 blank; leaf H4 signed H3).
- Renouard gives a different collation for part 1 ending with leaf y6, but with foliation numbering indicated correctly.
- Criblé initials; initial spaces with guide letters.
- Printed marginalia.
- Preliminary leaves contain privilege, short preface by Benedictus, and "Index rerum et sententiarum" (to both parts); text includes marginal notes and references, chapter summaries, prefaces to books; at the end of pt. 2, index of liturgical epistles and gospels.

- Way copy has partially illegible dated 18th-century manuscript ownership inscription ("Sum ex libr. Heinr. [...] Roedig[...] [...] [...] 7bris. i73[...]"), struck through, on title leaf.
- Way copy has largely illegible stamp ("[...] [...]. [...]enach.") on title leaf; stamp ("Kurf. ev Konsistorium zu Hanau.") of Kurfürstlich-Evangelisches Konsistorium zu Hanau on leaf e1r.
- Way copy bound in full 17th-century French calf; gold-tooled cover edges; 5 raised, gold-tooled bands on spine; gold-tooled spine panels; gold-stamped brown leather spine label ("NOVUM TESTAM. PAVLI EPIST."); marbled pastedowns; all edges red. Housed in blue marbled clamshell case.
