- In the spring of 1977 thirty-two Modern Library titles were reissued with newly designed dustjackets and bindings. The dust jackets designed by R. D. Scudellari, Random House's corporate art director, employ a uniform typographic design and are printed in two colors on uncoated paper. S. Neil Fujita's version of the torchbearer appears in ocher and the author-title are in one of four colors.
