Summary:
This is the report of the Special Session which brought together a wide range of organizations and entities dedicated to connecting the unconnected, to discuss how to bring all the world's people online, innovative investment models, and in particular to align and reinforce our efforts to connect the next 1.5 billion people by 2020 (a target from the Connect 2020 Agenda). The Broadband Commissioners are at one in their firm belief that broadband can be a powerful driver for sustainable development and are underlining this by dedicating their work specifically to drive progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
