Summary:
"Architects Fabio Bitencourt and Luciano Monza conceived the idea in its integrated form in the beginning of the second decade of this century. They designed the concept all of the necessary elements and contents to organize the participation of the invited architects. The authors of each chapter did the rest. Twenty architects from twenty countries, were invited, and in some cases invited further colleagues to participate. The response was as heterogeneous as our region: excellent work by our colleagues from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. It is our hope that this publication will stimulate the remaining authors to write their chapters for a new edition, creating a more geographically complete view of healthcare architecture in our dear and complex Latin America." --Page 9.
