V.1-3 contain 70 plates interpolated throughout engraved by Wilson Lowry after J. Farey with frontis. portrait of Smeaton in v.1 engraved by Bromley [i.e. William Bromley] after Brown [I.e. John Brown]
Plates engraved by Wilson Lowry after J. Farey in v.1-3; plates in v.[4], are signed by Basire, J. Mynde after Smeaton.
