- From Walter's diaries & account books it is known that he began work on Girard College ca. 1833, the Newkirk House in 1834/35, his own house in 1837, the Dundas House 1838, First Baptist Church, Richmond & PSFS 1839, and Second Baptist Church, Richmond, 1840. Thus the date of this composite it probably around 1840.
