1833.
Notes:
Identification of this project is made from the drawing dates, and a corresponding entry for Jan. 10, 1933, in Walter's diary "Furnished drawings for a new Presb. Church at the corner of 8th & Cherry Sts. to M. Newkirk, S. Richards, and M.L. Bevan." A later entry dated July 16, 1839 in his account book, reads "Central Pres. Church, to design for marble pulpit including working drawings and prof. attention in the execution of it, ..."
Two drawings are included here, both signed by Walter, but with the longitudinal section signed "Tho. U. Walter, archt. et del." Few of his signatures show this specific indication of he as actual delineator, though from his diary entries, it is assumed that he probably was. The second drawing is a main floor plan.
Forms part of: Walter, Thomas Ustick. Architectural drawings collection.
