- The Cape May handbook (1977), p. 16, gives the original architect as Stephen Decatur Button, 1872, and the address as 635 Columbia Avenue. This source also states, p. 76, that the drawings were made for HABS by the Cape May Survey Teams of 1973, 1974 & 1977.
