Ballinger log book 1, p. 60, "Miscellaneous" projects, lists only photo no. 416, as "Friedenwald perspective". This is a photo of an architectural rendering of a 4+-story industrial building, only identified on the image as "Ballinger & Perrot, architects." This photo is also listed inthe scrapbook index as "Friedenwald Building (Baltimore)" The following photo numbers are also listed as the Friedenwald in scrapbook indexes: 527-535, 541-600, 601-606, 608-621, 641, 673, 677, 698-699. Photo nos. 531-532, 573-574, 577-578, 581, and 591-592 are absent from the collection. Photo no. 607 reads as "Henabaque concrete test house" in the scrapbook index, but the photo itself is labelled "Friedenwald Bldg., May 21, 1906."
Photo no. 699 shows a completed building, dated above the entrance "1906." Photo no. 551 appears to show one end of the building in construction, with two signs: [1] Geo. A. Fuller Co., Building Construction ... [2] Unit System of Reinforced Concrete used in this building, Unit Concrete Steel Frame Co. Photo no. [556] appears to shows a house & building next to the site. The building has a sign "All kinds of marble work, cleaned, repaired." Photo nos. 559 & 562 show a building on another side of the site with the sign "The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co." Photo no. 569 possibly shows the area from another angle, with a building sign "The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company's Warehouse & Shops." Photo no. 619 shows either a different building or an earlier stage, with three signs on a tree: [1] Geo. A. Fuller Co. ... [2] Southern Construction Co., concrete construction ... [3] Unit System ... Unit Concrete Steel Frame Co. ..."
