Notes:
Ballinger log book 1, p. 110, lists photo numbers 856-859, 1209-1211 which appear to show the construction & completed building, and nos. 1253-1254 which show fire damage. Competition drawings for this building and a later addition, which apparently replaced the rear wing damaged in the fire, are cataloged separately. Estimated date of the 8xx photos is, while the 12xx photos have 1910 dates in the log book. Photo no. 1209 shows the facade with date 1908 and "William Millican School" above the entrance.
