- Identification from donor. Identified on the piece only with "Stotesbury" in black marker, from the donor. The origin of the drawing is unkown. It is believed to be for the Stotesbury residence, Whitemarsh Hall in Chestnut Hill, Pa. rather than the Stotesbury Bar Harbor, Maine address. Horace Trumbauer is known as the architect of Whitemarsh Hall. But it is not known if this is a Trumbauer drawing.
