No HABS survey number or drawing number is given on the sheet. Nor is this building listed in the 1983 Stamm checklist. Although the image is drawn on HABS stationary, it is perhaps a preliminary drawing which was never finally accepted by the survey. This sheet shows the Northwest elevation and is "drawn by Perry Benson."

The Cape May handbook (1977), p. 20, states that this building, architect unknown, was moved and altered 1881. The location of the house at the time of this survey is given in the handbook as Trenton Avenue between Beach and New Jersey Avenues. The handbook also states, p. 76, that the drawings were done for HABS by the Cape May Survey Teams of 1973, 1974 & 1977.
