This set includes two drawings for 1973, drawn by D.K. McCoubrey, and M.M. Thomas, one drawing for 1974, drawn by Gardner A. Cadwalader, and one drawing for 1977, drawn by Thomas Ewing. The Thomas drawing has a variant form of title "Church of the Advent (St. John's Church), Cape May ..."
No HABS number or drawing number on sheet. HABS number 858 taken from Stamm checklist, which calls the structure St. John's Church, and gives the address as Washington & Franklin Sts.
The Cape May handbook (1977), p. 11, has an entry for this structure as: St. John's Church, 1867, (Church of the Advent), Henry Simms, architect, Washington and Franklin Streets. This source also states, p. 76, that the drawings were done for HABS by the Cape May Survey Teams of 1973, 1974 & 1977.
