Title from photo no. 2771, which is a site plan showing the Cathedral Cemetery to the north & west, with park to the west & south, with the Valley Parkway near the center north of the development. Streets listed are: Harrington St., Grant Ave., McLane, Geddes & Union St., with cross streets Barry St., Clark St., Sycamore St., Maple St., Linden St., Gilles St., Chestnut St., McDonough St., Tulip St., Lancaster Ave. and Second St. The plan includes a school & stores. Photo 2799 is similar, but includes the seal of the Emergency Fleet Corporation of the U.S. Shipping Board. Photo no. 2800 shows this seal in detail.
Photo no. 2768 shows Mayor Lawton & others breaking ground. Photo no. 2822 shows Block M (Geddes, Chestnut, Linden, Union Sts.) in plan & elevations. Other similar drawings show other segments of the division. Photo no. 2842 summarizes the various plans for the various types of houses.
